Yes, for all of us who aren’t getting enough mystery rides or outdoor
screenings per month, you can rest easy….
The Mystery Movie Ride is a monthly sunset ride to a secret cinema
screening under the stars. The event takes place on the last Friday
of the month and meets at Friendship Circle, located at the West Side
of the Steel Bridge. For meet-up time, and more information check

July’s screening will include selected shorts, as well as two features
that highlight music. “Frida” chronicles the life of artist Frida
Kahlo, who channeled the pain of a crippling injury and her
tempestuous marriage into her work. The film is the latest by
acclaimed director Julie Taymor and features an Oscar award-winning
original score. In “True Stories,” David Byrne (lead singer of the
Talking Heads) writes, stars, and directs a mock documentary that is
part musical, part farce, and completely strange.
