[Zoobomber
"Handsome" Dave]

Acclaimed movie director Gus Vant Sant -- who won was nominated for an Academy Award for Good Will Hunting -- has tapped the Zoobombers for an upcoming performance piece with the BodyVox dance company.

Van Sant and the Zoobombers will be guest artists at First Impressions V. 5, a show that runs from December 7-16 at the BodyVox Studio (1300 NW Northrup).

Zoobomb ringleader "Handsome" Dave wouldn't divulge too much info about the performance, so you'll have to show up to find out what happens when you mix the talents of Gus Van Sant with guys that like to ride mini-bikes down hills.

For more info call BodyVox GM Una Loughran at (503) 229-0627.

$33? I thought the performance was free - as long as you participate?

"handsome" dave? is that supposed to be some sort of joke or something?

    this gang is very confusing.

Zoobomb does not have a *ringleader*, because Zoobomb is an activity and not a club/organization/gang.

    haha, a "gang". haha.

How about a group of people and friends who share the same interests and like to have fun?

oh shit, that means everyone is in a gang!

Is this like April Fools or something ?

Every instance of "ZooBomBers" in this
    announcement should be replaced with
    "H. Dave and his buddies".

Actually, we are a radical animal rights group, hence the slogan : Bomb the Zoo, NOT Iraq !

    It's not your fault, Jonathan.

Gus Van Sant BOMBED WITH US last night. On a 16" library bike. He went down the "HELLWAY".

Nerf, consider the fact that an art performance space has very limited appeal and does not sell alcohol and then consider what rents are downtown and then ask yourself how much money is left over. Nobody is turning a profit on this.

Maybe you should take your energy and focus it on organizing a messengers union or at the very least a Friday afternoon boycott of deliveries to the courthouse.

    exactly.

zoobomb has always been about FUN. That's it. No political agenda, there are plenty of outlets for that around. So pull stretch yer panties back out and get over it. It's not like zoobomb is doing a performance art piece for the LLoyd Center Mall. Oh, wait.....
