6:15-6:30 – Meet & Greet with the new Oregon Walk Executive Director, Mike Dennis (15 min)
Mike Dennis, Oregon Walks
Mike Dennis, the new Executive Director of Oregon Walks, the statewide pedestrian advocacy non-profit, will introduce himself and the organization. He will also provide a brief overview of the organizations upcoming programs and ways for PAC members to get involved.

6:30 -7:10 – Walk Portland: pilot findings and next steps (40 min)

Gena and Sean will provide an update on Walk Portland, the pedestrian wayfinding project that the PAC provided feedback on during summer 2025. They will go over the public feedback overview and present next steps, including asking the PAC for a letter of support for a grant application.

7:10-7:50 – Traffic Fatalities draft letter for discussion (40 min)

PAC members Mark and Sarah will share a draft letter they have been working on and will lead a discussion with the committee.

The 20-member volunteer Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC) meets monthly to review projects of interest to cyclists and discuss bike issues. The committee advises the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) as well as city council and other bureaus on all biking-related matters.

Meets on second Tuesday of each month (not this month because of Veterans Day Holiday) from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Meetings are hybrid via Zoom and in person at Suite 216 of the Portland Building (1120 SW 5th Avenue)

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) Freight Advisory Committee, formed February 2003, serves as an advisory group to the Portland Bureau of Transportation and City Council on issues related to freight mobility. Includes community member volunteers and public agency representatives at the local, state, and federal level.

Hybrid meeting. In person at Portland Building (1120 SW 5th Ave) Room 216.

6:20-6:40 – SE César E Chávez Boulevard Safety Project (20 min)

PBOT is working to improve traffic safety on SE César E Chávez Boulevard from Lafayette Court to Schiller Street. Staff will share about the project and the current online open house and survey now open through March 23, 2026.

6:40-7:10 – NE Cully Blvd and 57th Ave Complete Street Project (30 min)

An overview of existing conditions and the recently completed concept design for improvements to NE Cully Blvd and NE 57th Avenue between NE Prescott and Klickitat streets.

7:10-7:50 – Portland’s Strategy on Autonomous Vehicles (40 min)

PBOT is proposing updates to TRN-14.34 to enable the city to properly manage the testing and commercial operations of for-hire AVs. City staff will provide an overview of proposed changes and solicit feedback for the public comment period for this administrative rule.
