I wonder why part of that image was censored out?
Interestingly, the vintage “Elk Cleaners & Laundry” wall sign is still in place on Killingsworth. You can see a bit of their sign behind the “Piedmont Cycle Shop” sign. Elk shows shows up on Yelp, but I don’t know whether they remain open. Looks like the cycle shop building was torn down and a parking lot is all that remains.
