Description: This is an Orbea Lobular 50 road bike. This bike retails for over
$3500. This handmade 56cm frame (with 56cm toptube) is constructed of
Orbea’s O3 Lobular tubing, a Columbus Starship derivative of triple
butted 6000 series aluminum (the frame is completely hand painted with
no decal work at all). This frame features a unique four lobed
downtube designed to flex in small amounts for a stiff yet dampened
ride. The Zeus AC fork has carbon
fiber legs and an aluminum steerer for strength and stiffness. It is
held in place with an integrated FSA sealed bearing headset. The
drivetrain is made up of a Dura Ace 10s rear derailleur, front
derailleur, crankset (53/39) and bottom bracket, Ultegra 9s shifters,
cassette, and chain. The brakes are Dura Ace 7800’s with cartridge
pads. The cockpit consists of a Thomson seatpost, Fizik Pave saddle
with titanium rails, ITM stem, and a Felt 6061 handlebar. The wheels
are FSA RD-80s. They are light and stiff and wrapped in Vittoria
Rubino Pro Slick tires.
