Description: On Saturday, August 18 at around 11:30 PM I locked up my red Vision recumbent bicycle with a kryptonite u-lock to a public street sign to attend a private party. When I left the party, which was just a few doors down from where my bike was locked up, all I found it was my bicycle helmet and the busted u-lock. I searched all around the neighborhood to see if someone ditched it (it’s hard to ride a recumbent bicycle if you’re not experienced), but I didn’t find it anywhere. I took a taxicab home.
My bicycle is a Vision brand recumbent bicycle, with under seat steering. The model is R40. The color is "Tango Red." It does not have any identifying stickers on it, nor do I have the serial number available. I had a black bike rack on the back, a red back reflector lights, and a blue "EL Wire" (looks like small neon) woven through the back of the seat for extra visibility. Because some of the cables were too long near the front derailer and pedals, I singed up the extra slack with a yellow reflective leg band
