About 30 or so people met on the Eastbank Esplanade for the Hott Sock II ride.
Sporting all manner of fun and funky socks, we rode down to Sock Dreams in Sellwood. When we rolled up, Sock Dreams staff and owners led us in the sock games. There was beer, sock prizes, and much more. After the Sock Dreams retail store stop in Sellwood, the ride continued to the Sock It To Me (a local sock brand) warehouse location off the Springwater Corridor near Johnson Creek. At the warehouse, more games and shenanigans (and beer and food and candy) ensued.
Check out the slideshow below for more of the faces and socks that were seen on the ride:

We had so much fun! How fun to see so many happy riders and fun socks!
Just one quick correction, Jonathan – the warehouse stop down near Johnson Creek is the Sock It To Me warehouse, not Sock Dreams. Sock Dreams, Sock It To Me, & Rock Socks are all Portland-based sock companies who helped to host the Return of the Crew (har har).
Socks and bikes are a great combo!! We’re pretty sure sock ball is going to catch on as a new favorite sport… 😉 Can’t wait for Hot Sock III!

2nd stop was warehouse for Sock It To Me- a great local brand of knee high socks with some portland and bike-centricstyles!
Thanks so much to Sock Dream, Rock Socks and Sock It To Me for being AWESOME hosts! Thanks to EBeth and KBott for their fearlessness in puns and rides, and a huge thanks to everyone who came and were undeterred by my inability to find the second stop. Esther, KBott, Buffalo Dave and Lindsay saved the day!
ps. I’m wearing pink and red knee-highs today that I won in the SITM dart game.
I had so much fun and won many pairs of socks! I do have to work on my potato catching skills though. I’d do this all over again in a second! Thanks to all that made it happen.
I heard it was a blast! Man, am I bummed to have missed it. I’ll take up any chance to wear my Sock It to Me socks with pride. Guess I’ll have to wait for Hott Sock III…
