VIDEO: Rapha Roller Races and a peek into Portland bike culture

Check out this video (below) put together for Rapha by filmmaker Brian Vernor (of Pure Sweet Hell fame). It’s a mix of great music, a documentary-style look at some of the faces of Portland’s bike culture, and the craziness that was the Rapha Roller Race event held during the recent Oregon Manifest show.

Total maddness! 😉 loved it. I was thinking what if the had races with age groups. 35+ 45+.. we need more races like this..

what, no footage of team ZooBomb? is it because we took the event sooooo seriously, were already drunk before the races, and still managed to beat some the “real” racers?

it was pretty silly though, racing stationary exercise bikes. the running around with a mini-bike part was the cool, that was like an actual race. but hey, i like free beer as much as the next six guys, and the rapha people were cool to us, so i can’t complain.
