Putting the ‘hands’ in handmade

These cards were available at a party hosted by Wieden+Kennedy as part of the Oregon Manifest Bike Show.

After the opening day of the Oregon Manifest show, Wieden+Kennedy hosted the Blowout Afterparty.

Attendees were welcomed into W+K’s northwest Portland headquarters with free beer, a special screening of Filmed by Bike, and an exhibit of bike builders from the show.

A life-sized, black and white photo of each builder in the show was set against a backdrop to one of their creations. On the ground near each bike was a stack of cards with a photo of the builder’s hand, their name, the name of their company, and their website. No logos, no faces, no colors. Just hands.

I loved the effect and tried to collect them all. I’ve scanned them below..
