Re-thinking traffic on the Hawthorne Bridge

When I’ve worked downtown, the highlight of my commute has always been crossing the Hawthorne Bridge. The air quality changes, the breeze shifts, the river is right below you, and the view of other bridges, buildings, and if you’re lucky, a big freighter, make you feel connected to the city.

[City Hall was packed!]

Portland’s bike scene had a memorable one-night stand in the atrium of City Hall last night. Twenty vendors shared their wonderful bike-themed wares with hundreds of gift-seekers at the second annual BikeCraft.

Filmmaker Dan Kaufman — whose new Cross Crusade season DVDs sold briskly — said the event was like, “Saturday Market for bikes!”.

Bike is red, with chrome colored tape on the cross bar and upright post. May still have rear rack with M&M’s, Darth Vader mud protector.
There was some damage to the back of the seat.
