Bike Traffic due to bridge closure
With the Broadway Bridge closed, bike traffic has really increased on the Eplanade and through the Rose Quarter.

The 'Suppenküche' by Metrofiets
The Suppenküche (German for soup and bread) is a custom cargo bike made in Portland by Metrofiets. At just 57 pounds, it's very light for a front-loading "bakfiets" style bike. Suppenkuche is a cafe in San Francisco.
2010 Policymakers Ride
This was the 6th annual Policymakers Ride. The idea behind this ride is to gather the region's politicians, planners, City staffers, and other transportation bigwigs on a ride to network and see the infrastructure up close. Ride support was by Cycle Oregon. We did a loop from PDX Airport, through NE/N Portland, over the I-5 bridge, had lunch in Fort Vancouver, and then looped back to PDX via I-205.
