Bike to Blazers 2010

Bike to Blazers is back!
Read the post event wrap-up.

Join us for Bike to Blazers on April 14th. The event will kick-off with a rally at Salmon Street Fountain in Waterfront Park at 5:30pm. At 6:00, we'll ride to the Rose Garden via Waterfront Park and the Steel Bridge. At the Commons in front of the main entrance to the arena we'll hang out at a Bike Fun Zone before heading into the bike section to cheer on our playoff-bound Portland Trail Blazers as they take on the Golden State Warriors in the last home game of the season (game starts at 7:30pm).
Check here for latest Bike to Blazers articles.

Some highlights of the event:

  • Rally in Waterfront Park featuring the first Portland address by new Bicycle Transportation Alliance executive director Rob Sadowsky
  • Bill Walton look-alike contest (winner gets an autographed Bill Walton helmet).
  • Professionally led group ride to the arena.
  • Vendors, activities, and more at the Bike Fun Zone at the Commons area in front of the Rose Garden main entrance.
  • First 100 ticket-buyers get to sit in the Bike Section (tickets have sold out!).
  • After the game, we'll be able to get on the court and shoot a free-throw.
