Another day on Cycle Oregon, another memorable journey through the best biking roads Oregon has to offer.

Today’s ride took us 70 miles north from Lake Selmac to the small timber town of Glendale. Highlights included an unforgettable jaunt high above the most scenic sections of the mighty Rogue River and a heavenly roller-coaster ride on the tiny, one-lane Graves Creek Road into the small town of Wolf Creek.

I am running out of battery on my laptop as I type this sitting outside a coffeeshop (and I’d like to get back to camp and go to bed), so I have to cut today’s report short. You can see my best shots from the road — as well as a few notes in the captions — in the slideshow below:

Tomorrow we ride 76 miles south into Grants Pass. I’m looking forward to two nights camping in beautiful Riverside Park (and hanging out with my dad who lives just a few miles away!).
