Rails-to-Trails to release major report on ‘Active Transportation’ funding campaign

The Rails-to-Trails Conservancy is shifting their efforts into high gear with the planned October 20th release of their new report, Active Transportation for America: The Case for Increased Federal Investment in Bicycling and Walking.

The report will try to make it clear to policy makers, advocates, the media and the public that an increased federal investment in bicycling and walking is long overdue in America.

I first reported about The Bicyclist back in February of 2007 — just before the Internet-only “webisode” premiered. Since then, Craftmaster Productions has filmed 30 episodes of the series, which follows the adventures of its four main characters Conrad (Jayme S. Job Description
Castelli USA is seeking a full-time Warehouse Manager for our warehouse in SW Portland. The position performs various warehouse functions (picking, packing, shipping, receiving, etc.). Applicants should be highly motivated with an attention to detail and a team player.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Picking orders correctly, quickly and efficiently
    � Packing and shipping orders using UPS Small Package plus some freight
    � Receiving finished goods material into inventory
    � Keeping warehouse neat and clean
    � Helping coordinate physical inventory counts
    � Properly checking and handling all paperwork with shipping and receiving
    � Work with customers and vendors with shipping issues
    � Process returns from customers

QUALIFICATIONS

    � Must be detail oriented and organized
    � Must have a positive attitude and be highly motivated
    � Must be punctual and maintain a good attendance record

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    � High School Diploma required, College Degree preferred.
    � 2-3 years Warehouse experience
    � Basic PC skills, Word, Excel, Outlook, UPS Worldship
