Job Description
The Bike Gallery is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our retail sales force. If you are driven, service oriented and passionate about cycling and the cycling lifestyle, then we want to hear from you!

Bicycle retail experience preferred, but not required. Specialty retail experience preferred, but not required. Bicycling experience is helpful and passion for customer service excellence is a must.

This is a seasonal position oriented towards front counter responsibilities which include tendering sales transactions, answering the phone, and greeting customers. An aptitude for customer care, phone etiquette and cashiering skills are essential.

Tour de Portland Bicycle Scavenger Hunt

This scavenger hunt starts at the SE Division Street Pix and ends at the North Williams Pix. Teams may consist of 1-3 people. First team to bring the 30 items on the list to Pix North via bicycle wins a $200 Pix Gift Certificate!

$5 entry fee to benefit SCRAP; 20 teams max; Contestants must wear helmets

On Monday, the city of Portland installed a bike box in the SE corner of W. Burnside and 14th streets in downtown Portland — the same intersection where Tracey Sparling was killed nine months ago.

This is the eighth bike box the City has installed in the past four months since the first one went in at SE Hawthorne and 7th.
