The Community Cycling Center is a 501(c)3 that works to broaden access to cycling and its benefits through hands-on programs and neighborhood bike shop. We believe bicycles are a tool for empowerment and a vehicle for change and we are actively seeking opportunities to reach a wider audience for our programs and services in a responsible and productive manner. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized Adult Programs Coordinator who can help make big things happen. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Adult Programs Coordinator is a highly responsible position reporting to the Program Director to administer and implement Create a Commuter classes and other adult-oriented free and fee-based programs. Work in concert with Youth Program Coordinator to develop and implement youth and family programs.

Key Duties
• Coordinate the Create a Commuter program under direction of Program Director
o Implement Create a Commuter classes
o Schedule classes (based around seasonal production and facility demands)
o Work with referral partners
o Administer database, paperwork, and filing
o Administer grant contract, fulfill reporting, and invoicing responsibilities
o Administer program evaluations
o Communicate bike production needs and coordinate with production staff
o Facilitate donated bike procurement
o Communicate parts and supply needs
o Supervise and work with volunteers, as needed
o Attend funding and planning meetings, as needed
o Collaborate with Program Team to improve program curriculum and design
• Coordinate fee for service adult programs
o Plan, schedule, recruit, and implement intro to commuting and bike maintenance classes
o Strengthen, diversify, and expand the Community Cycling Center’s adult program offerings

Additional Duties
• Work with Programs Team to ensure across-the-board excellence in program delivery and management
• Implement youth programs such as Bike Safety Club and Bike Summer Camp as needed
• Development and grant writing duties as directed
• Participate in special events

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Experience with program development and implementation
• Experience with program content including but not limited to basic bicycle maintenance, safe riding skills, job readiness skills, cooperative teamwork concepts
• Experience working with and motivating volunteers
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Respect for and commitment to diversity, teamwork, and environmental sustainability
• National criminal background check required

Reports to: Programs Director
Pay scale: $10-11 an hour, Paid Time Off (PTO), and health benefits after successful 3-month evaluation.
FTE: 0.8 – 1.0 (32-40hrs a week) Flex hours in effect year-round
