The group will walk west on SW Yamhill Street to SW 10th Ave, then proceed north on SW 10th to NW Couch Street. We will head west on NW Couch before turning south at NW 12th Ave. The group will proceed to SW 12th Ave and turn east onto SW Harvey Milk Street. From Harvey Milk we will return to SW 10th Ave which we will follow to SW Morrison Street and then end the walk back at Pioneer Square. The entire loop is about 1 mile.
The route will allow participants to see all of the different interventions for the pilot, including both directional (small) and orientation (large) signs, nudge signs, sidewalk decals, and viny storefront window coverings. PAC members and attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback and speak with PBOT planners involved with the project. For more information about the Downtown Route, visit walkpdx.com.
