The 20-member volunteer Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC) meets monthly to review projects of interest to cyclists and discuss bike issues. The committee advises the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) as well as city council and other bureaus on all biking-related matters.
Meets on second Tuesday of each month (not this month because of Veterans Day Holiday) from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Meetings are hybrid via Zoom and in person at Suite 216 of the Portland Building (1120 SW 5th Avenue)

Review of retreat goals and actions. Discussion about how to apply them in today’s governmental, political, budgetary, cultural and bureaucratic structure. Planning for future meetings and events.
Portland Clean Energy Community Benefit Fund Discussion (7:00-7:30)
The Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF) is proving to be a significant contributor to Portland’s work to reduce planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions. From the start of these efforts bicycle transportation has been counted on to play a big role. Seetha Reem-Rao, Transportation Decarbonization Program Manager for PCEF will discuss PCEF’s existing programmatic efforts to encourage increased bicycle use. Her main focus this evening will be the e-bike rebate program.
Project Updates (7:30-7:45)
Roger Geller will provide updates on notable capital projects (SW 4th, SW Terwilliger [BES]. SW 6th, NE Broadway-Weidler, Messaging, Neighborhood Greenways-Bike Bus, Bike Bus Wayfinding, Bike lane hardening and other efforts (maintenance).
