Bicycle Mechanic / Service Manager

Provide reliable, honest, and the highest quality technical services while working with existing staff to manage a well organized and efficient service team. Responsibilities include helping to manage and maintain a service department environment where customers feel welcomed, staff are respected, repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest of standards, on time and efficiently.


Lead the shop service team.
Help customers with new bike and gear sales and service.
Repair and maintain all types of bicycles, including folding, ebikes, and cargo bikes.
Provide customers with accurate cost estimate quotes and maintenance suggestions.
Thoroughly and accurately complete bike builds, repairs, tune ups, sales checks, and accessory installs on time and with the highest quality standards.
Maintain organized and efficient service areas.
Assist with the daily operations of the store including closing sales, order management, and customer service.
Assist sales associates and customers with technical questions and purchases.

Strong attention to detail.
Love for order, detail and communication.
Willingness to learn about electric and non-traditional bikes.
Sales experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Adaptable, teachable and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Previous bike shop experience.

Additional Details & Benefits:

This is a full-time position; 40 hours per week.
Competitive wage: $20.00 to $30.00 /hour depending on experience.
