Biking to Timbers soccer games is already a thing. And you know we love us some Bike to Blazers. Now it’s time to show the Portland Pickles some velo-love.
The Pickles might not be major league, but their games are major fun. And next Tuesday night (7/30) is the perfect time to ride to the park and check them out.
Based at the wonderful Lents Park in southeast Portland, the Pickles have made fans out of many for their accessible games and venue. With tickets as low as $8, it’s much cheaper than at night watching the Blazers or Timbers. And it’s much more chill. Just roll up with your bike and take it all in. The I-205 path is just a block from the field.

Elected officials, planning consultants, insiders and agency staffers will never understand the needs of our regional bikeway network unless they get on a bike and experience it for themselves. That’s the idea behind the invite-only Policymakers Ride (a.k.a. Voyage of the Visionaries) which embarked on its 15th annual journey last Friday.
How do you handle well-meaning concerns about biking with little ones?
