By bike, by car, by foot, by bus: Just vote!

I don’t care how you get to a ballot box today, just do it.

If you haven’t voted, make sure you swing by one of the ballot drop-off sites, get in line, or do whatever it takes to make it happen. And, while you’re at it, drag your friends, co-workers and neighbors along with you.

While riding into work this morning, with thoughts about the future of our country, a billboard I’ve passed by for several weeks took on a whole new meaning…

There has been way too much discontent and division in our country for the last eight years. Let’s hope that no matter what happens tonight, we can move forward into the future in a positive and hopeful way.

  • If you live in Multnomah County, here’s a list of ballot drop-off sites.
  • If you’re looking for an election night party, and you also want to help raise money for the Bicycle Transportation Alliance, drop by The Cleaners at SW Stark and 10th tonight.
  • One last reminder. According to this story, there’s a higher risk of serious traffic crashes on election day, so be extra careful out there.

Those are both great pictures…. that billboard, though, really drives the point home.

Or rather, BIKES the point home! 🙂

    Oh, I’m so funny.

But yes. VOTE, people!! You can’t complain about the government if you don’t vote!
