Job Description
Team Estrogen is an online retailer of women’s cycling, triathlon and fitness apparel. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of every woman who wants to ride, run, swim or work out in comfort and style. We are a small, but growing company seeking employees that share our passion for fitness, and our enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service and an unmatched selection of technical apparel for women.

Primary Duties:

a. Participate in vendor line showings
b. Place pre-season purchase orders based on historical sales analysis, as well as future expectations & sales trends.
c. Monitor arrival of pre-season orders, and review orders as necessary to ensure stock balancing and satisfactory sell through rates.
d. Place at-once orders in season as product sells through. Maintain adequate stock levels in key items at all times to ensure sufficient inventory to meet demand.
e. Monitor return rates to ide ntify fit or quality issues.
f. Merchandise collections on the website both within & across brands to encourage multiple-unit sales.
g. Work with the photography dept to ensure that key apparel details are highlighted on the website.
h. Participate in the creation of the product details on the website, to ensure complete and accurate information to aid customer purchasing decisions.

Other Duties as assigned:

a. Assist the customer service dept with in-bound consumer phone calls. It’€™s our belief that buyers need to be in regular contact with consumers on a one-to-one basis to fully understand the needs of our customers.
b. Lend a hand where needed, when needed, for special projects or to balance general work flow.

The ideal candidate:

— Has a background in buying technical athletic apparel.
— Is enthusiastic about sport, and regularly wears athletic apparel for recreation, training or bike-commuting.
— Is comfortable working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment and can handle multiple tasks efficiently & effectively.
— Is analytical by nature, and loves details.
— Thrives in a small company environment, where we each wear many hats, often at the same time

This full-time position is available immediately at our headquarters on Mauzey Road in Hillsboro.
