Lake Oswego Holiday Bike Donation Drive

Volunteer at the Lake Oswego Holiday Bike Donation Drive (LOHBD)

Dear Riders & Bike Community Volunteers:

Please join us at our second annual LOHBD to collect donation bikes for the non-profit programs of ExchangeCycleTours.org (ECT), Community Cycling Center (CCC), and the Girl’s Scouts. Below are the event announcement and details.

We need volunteers to:

1. Set up (10:30AM arrival)
2. Receive donors & donations, provide info about ECT & CCC. (11AM – 4PM)
3. Process donated bikes (remove pedals, turn handlebars; 11AM – 4PM)
4. Load bikes into CCC’s truck & other volunteers’ vehicles and unload bikes at storage locations (1:30PM – 5PM)

All tasks are easy to perform for anyone 13 and over. Come as you are, all equipment will be provided.
We will split into two shifts: 10:30AM – 2PM & 2PM – 5PM.

Please RSVP with Matt Picio at:

“execdir@exchangecycletours.org” or “info@exchangecycletours.org”

and specify which shift(s) you can volunteer for, and if you need a ride to the event location.

We will provide free breakfast & lunch for all volunteers. Please submit your dietary preference with your RSVP.
If you would like to donate food for this event, please also let Matt Picio know.

All volunteers will meet at the Lake Grove Albertson’s location. (Some volunteers may ride with CCC’s truck to Athey Creek Middle School for pick-up.)

Thanks and hope to see you next Saturday in Lake Oswego!

Steven
