Posted by on August 10th, 2007 at 11:21 am

Here’s August’s Agenda. Should be a good meeting. Hope to see you there.

Announcements/BAC Discussion
* Recruitment for BAC vacancies

Local Transportation Funding Options
Mark Lear and Jamie Weltz from PDOT will provide a presentation on the state
of PDOT’s current finances for Transportation maintenance and safety and
discuss the current thinking to create additional sources of funding,
including funding for bicycle safety projects.

North Denver Avenue Design Consideration: Concrete or Asphalt Bike Lanes
Kathryn Levine, project manager for the N Denver Avenue design project, will
ask the committee for feedback on bicycle lane design through the Kenton
commercial district.

Bicycle Access along the Willamette Greenway at RiverPlace
Some property owners along the Willamette Greenway at Riverplace are
concerned about bicycle use along the portion of the trail running from

NOTE: At BikePortland, we love your comments. We love them so much that we devote many hours every week to read them and make sure they are productive, inclusive, and supportive (heck, sometimes we even fix your typos!). That doesn't mean you can't disagree with someone. It means you must do it with tact and respect. This is our business and we do not tolerate mean commenters who add nothing of value to the discussion.

Unfortunately, we are not robots and we don't always catch everything. You can help by notifying us if you see inappropriate comments. Thanks! — Jonathan and Michael
