PORTLAND, OR — Take a moon-lit urban bicycle adventure through Portland
on The Night Ride, a benefit bicycle ride on Saturday, July 7th, 2007
starting at 8:00 pm from the train station. The mostly flat, 15-mile
street course takes riders past fire jugglers and hootin’ and hollerin’
Portland night life. Cyclists will stop at a special outdoor screening
of short bicycle movies from Filmed by Bike as they munch on theater
popcorn. The next stop is a disco party en route to the finish line
all-you-can-eat doughnut feast. This ride is a benefit for the Bicycle
Transportation Alliance.

Have a great Fourth of July

Hope you enjoy your Independence today. On my ride into the office this morning the streets were wonderfully quiet and empty.

I’ve got an interview with Momentum Magazine in a few minutes, but I’ll be cutting out after that to spend the day with family and friends.

I’ll leave you with a few shots I snapped at the Bike Master Plan Ride last night (report coming tomorrow).
