The 20-member volunteer Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC) meets monthly to review projects of interest to cyclists and discuss bike issues. The committee advises the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) as well as city council and other bureaus on all biking-related matters.
Meets on second Tuesday of each month from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Meetings are hybrid via Zoom and in person at Suite 216 of the Portland Building (1120 SW 5th Avenue)

Public Comment (6:15-6:20)
PBOT Director Millicent Williams (6:20-6:50)
PBOT Director Millicent Williams will share her vision about bicycling in Portland and engage in conversation with the committee about matters related to bicycling.
SE 122nd Avenue (6:50-7:20)
PBOT Project Manager Bryan Poole will provide an update on the projects happening on 122nd Avenue, timelines, and share the design considerations for the segment of 122nd between Powell Boulevard and Foster Road where a road diet is being proposed. This project last came to the BAC in February 2025.
TSP “3 Wishes” discussion (7:20-7:50)
In a follow up to the September BAC meeting at which Senior City Planner Francesca Jones presented on the TSP, the BAC has an opportunity to develop their “3 Wishes” feedback that will help shape the vision and goals for the future of Portland’s transportation system. As noted in the September BAC meeting notes, and TSP presentation, the wishes should be high-level, affirmative (what you want to see), and why the wish is important.
