The father of two Cleveland High School students says that traffic injuries like the ones that are common on Powell Boulevard are “inexcusable and unnecessary.”
Residents of Portland’s most kid-heavy quadrant turned out by the thousands on Sunday for what’s become an East Portland Mother’s Day tradition.
Police said preliminary information indicated that the man was biking south when a northbound truck turned left in front of him.
The pair hope to leave Portland with an unfamiliar and powerful insight: sometimes, improvisation works.
