There’s a ton of fun bike stuff to do this weekend.
I’m too tired to list it all right now, but if you check the Shift Calendar you’ll be off to a good start.
I’ll be escorting my lady to the BTA’s Alice Awards Saturday night and I’m sure I’ll see many of you there.
Also, this weekend is the Oregon Bike Polo Championships. You can check the full schedule at the Polo Haus blog.
If you’re a racer, you’ll probably be headed out to Hagg Lake for the second edition of the Banana Belt road race series. That looks like a lot of fun — I wish I had the time and legs to get into the race scene.
My pick for the weekend (besides bike polo, which I hope to see on Sunday), would be the Awesome Architecture of Alberta ride.
What are your plans? We’d love to hear about your adventures…

I’ll see you at the Alice Awards tonight. Should be fun, even in the rain.
They’re playing Veer! at the Living Room Theaters!
Alice Awards, yes. But less wine than last year.
Spent 3-1/2 hours sweeping the sidewalk on Canyon near Goose Hollow.

I just love when the computer messes up…
I was the poster of reply #4…

I could have sworn you said “Spent 3-1/2 hours sleeping on the sidewalk on Canyon near Goose Hollow.”
😀
Finally saw Veer at the Living Room!
Great flick!
I recogized many of the people!

Other than a delightful grocery/neighborhood Xtracycle ride on Friday with my sweetie, I didn’t ride a great deal this weekend; though I DID enjoy having some free time to “putter” in the shed and do some mechanical work on one of my bikes. (When you work in a bike shop, having free time to throw love at your own bike is rare.)
the polo championships were excellent. so much talent from so many places… thanks yalls!
