We’ve got a great agenda prepared for next Tuesday’s BAC meeting. The first hour will be a joint BAC/PAC (Pedestrian Advisory Committee) meeting as the combined committees hear a presentation from Trimet on the Milwaukie Light Rail Line. This project offers signfiicant opportunities for bicycle and pedestrian travel in the region.
After that, the committees will split and the BAC meeting will continue with a discussion about using diversion as a tool for creating and maintaining conditions on bicycle boulevards, and a brief presentation from Emily Gardner from the BTA about the Burnside-Couch couplet.
