I SAW THIS BIKE (I THINK) AT THE QFC ON 33RD
SUNDAY NIGHT. IT HAD WHITE TAPE ALL OVER IT AND
I ASKED THE PERSON WHY. HE SAID HE DID IT SO IT
WOULDNT GET STOLEN. HOWEVER I NOTICED THAT IT HAD PEDALS ON IT & HE WAS RIDING IT WITH TENIS
SHOES AND LOOKING IN GARBAGE CANS FOR BOTTLES WHICH LOOKED FUNNY FOR SOMEBODY RIDING AN EXPENSIVE BIKE. HE RODE OFF QUICKLY AND I DIDNT KNOW WHETHER TO CHASE HIM DOWN OR NOT.
I WISH I WOULD HAVE BUT DIDNT KNOW WHAT I COULD REALLY DO. ANYWAY HE IS ABOUT 20-25 YRS. OLD, 5′-10″ WITH BLOND HAIR. THE BIKE IS TAPED UP BUT LOOKED PRETTY NEW. HOPEFULLY HE IS AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND YOU CAN FIND HIM.

Just a reminder that if you ever see a bike being stolen, or see one you are 100% sure is stolen, you should call 911 because it’s a crime in progress.

Call 911!? Are you kidding? That bike will be long gone! If you see someone steeling a bike and you are 100% sure you make a sene, point the person out and yell “He’s steeling that bike”!!!!! Kick ass if you have to, let’s get tough on crime. If it is my bike and you stop someone from steeling it I will reward you in some good way, count on it. TW

Just got this note from the bike’s owner:

“To let you know. The Bianchi Volpe that was stolen on Saturday 8/5 or so was recovered. Thanks to the sharp eyes and determination of my girlfriend and the much needed physical help of a stranger, my bike was recovered outside of Zupians this last saturday. The police were never really involved as the suspect ran away. If you could mark this bike as found that would be great. I want to thank you and everybody else for the support and helping me get my ride back. Keep up the good work!
Greatfully,
-Kevin”
