As promised last week, PDOT is working to install four new on-street bike parking corrals around downtown. Reader Austin Ramsland snapped a photo of the work-in-progress. The location of this corral is at SW 3rd and Pine (near Stumptown Coffee):

“Bike Oases” coming to Hawthorne Blvd.

In January 2006 the City of Portland will begin installation of 4 “bike oases” structures on Hawthorne Blvd (see photo).
