Metropolis Cycle Repair (2249 N Williams Ave) was broken into last night, becoming just the latest in a long and steady stream of bike shop burglaries.

According to shop owner Nathan Roll, thieves took four bikes and “a few thousand dollars in tools and merchandise.” The Police have been at the store all morning to assess the damage and document the crime.

Roll has emailed all the other shops in town to keep an eye out for the merchandise and he’s hoping the larger community will help out too. He emailed us a list of the products that were stolen:

“Ortlieb backpacks in various colors, Portland Design Works and Lezyne lights and pumps, Continental folding tires, a Kryptonite EVo Mini, some Castelli full finger gloves, and some tools. Tools include a full set of cone wrenches (weird, I know!) a park pedal wrench, and a Park SBS-1 bit set.”

And here are the bikes that were taken:

Felt Brougham Grey/White 56cm no serial #

Raleigh Furley Orange 57cm ser # U131U20152

Raleigh Tripper Raw Steel 57cm ser #U124U34929

All City Dropout Grey Medium Custom build with white tires and black components
