This weekend starts off slow and then builds up to some great events starting Saturday afternoon.  Take some time to enjoy the beautiful fall colors or clean up the bike, just in time to take it out and cover it with more mud and leaves.

Thursday, November 11th

6:30 pm: BTA/NW Trail Alliance Moots Bike Raffle Party
The tickets are all sold out. Now let’s find out who the lucky winner of a $7,000 Moots bike will be! Lots of raffle and door prizes at the party too.

Friday, November 12th

Midnight: Midnight Mystery Ride
Lots of fun. Lots of friends. Meet and ride to a mystery location. It’s a Portland institution and won’t regret going. Tonight’s ride will meet at 11:00pm at the Queen of Hearts Tavern on SE 72nd and Harold. Ride begins at midnight (duh).

Saturday, November 13th

1:00pm-3:00pm: Awesome Architecture Ride
Explore 25 local examples of modern architecture on the 25xDesign edition of this local favorite.  Group meets at Delphina’s Bakery, 4636 NE 42nd Ave, and ends on Mississippi Ave, in an easy and laid-back tour.

Sunday, November 14th

All Day: Cross Crusade #8
This weekend’s episode of the notorious cyclocross series that is Cross Crusade rears its head at Barton Park, in Barton, OR.   Come watch or participate in the event that begs the question of first-timers and experts alike: “how did I get mud in there?”.

12:00pm-6:00pm: PDX Cycle Swap
This reoccurring event in North Portland features vendors of new and used bikes, components, accessories, and crafts under one roof. Check out live music, a beer garden, and racing events as you browse and hang out with your fellow bike lover. 1300 N. River st.

5:30pm-7:00pm: Interview with Tyler Farrar
Come hang out with racing celebrity and genuinely down-to-earth guy, Tyler Farrar , as he chews the fat with local journalist Heidi Swift for an interview event at Upper Echelon Fitness.  You can submit your own questions for Tyler on Heidi’s blog here, and attendees have a chance at winning a Garmin Edge 500 door prize.
