Event of the Week: Epic Wheel Works’ ‘Live the Revolution’ party

Buffered Bike Lane with a bike symbol and arrow pointing forward

Hard to believe it’s been a year since Jude Kirstein launched her custom wheel building business, Epic Wheel Works.

Since then, Jude’s learned a lot about wheel building, running a small business, and what it means to work and ride in the vibrant bike ecosystem that thrives here in Portland.

This Thursday, Jude will celebrate her first year in business with Live the Revolution, a big party and fundraiser at Madison’s Grill and Catering (1109 SE Madison, just a few blocks from her shop).

There’s a big prize raffle planned with items up for grabs from Nutcase Helments, Keen Footwear, Gracie’s Wrench, Portland Design Works, and more. All proceeds will support the BTA’s Safe Routes to School program and reflects what Jude says is Epic’s commitment to “supporting the local cycling community”.

Also at the party will be an art show, a wheel-changing contest, a photo booth, and more.

Check the event flyer below for all the details (and the awesome artwork):
