Regrettably I won’t be inside the Barack Obama rally this morning. However, I did stop by the Coliseum on my way into the office to check out the bike parking situation.
While there are definitely a lot of bikes parked illegally (a technicality, since there is not an adequate number of legal spaces), the situation seems to be under control. I didn’t see any signs of security guards removing bikes (yet).
It was good to see hundreds of bikes parked outside the entrance!

They’ve got several reporters on the scene and they’re posting live updates (including an MP3 of the speech just made by Congressman Earl Blumenauer).
