I know this is a bit late, but I thought some of you might appreciate hearing a few of the speeches from the “We Are ALL Traffic” press conference. This event happened on the steps of City Hall last Friday (11/16) and was a precursor to the big Rally on Saturday.
“In our country, every year 43,000 people are killed on our roadways, it’s carnage…and we let it happen. We’re not going to let it happen anymore…this is not acceptable…”

“I really think we’re experiencing a sea-change in how we get around and more often it’s two wheels instead of four…we are leading change, that’s the good news. The bad news is that some things haven’t changed…PDOT spends less than 2% of their budget on bike infrastructure.”
