Metro is asking cyclists to help “shape the nature of your neighborhood.”

Back in November the Metro Council got a big thumbs-up from voters on a region-wide program to buy up, protect, and improve natural areas. Now they need help to set priorities in 27 regional natural areas and trails that are targeted for acquisition.
Many of these areas include (or provide crucial connections to) popular bicycle trails. They are holding a series of open houses where you can view maps, learn more about the areas, and give them your feedback. They also plan to launch a “virtual open house” on June 12th.
