— from description of Veer in Victoria Film Fest program

This week at the Victoria Film Festival, film buffs from all over the world will get their first chance to see Veer, the feature-length documentary about Portland’s bike culture.

Veer producers Greg Fredette and Jason Turner arrived in Victoria today and will attend a Q & A presentation about their movie after it screens on Wednesday.

Here’s how the festival describes the movie:

If you thought Victoria was a bike city, prepare yourself for bicyclophilia gone just plain NUTS! In this breakthrough doc by Portland residents Greg Fredette and Jason Turner, get ready for a wild ride through the growing underground bike culture of their hometown and America at large.

In honor of this world premiere occassion, I also thought it’d be fun to share the official movie poster:

Good luck Greg and Jason. I can’t wait to hear what folks outside of Portland think about this movie.
