Just an FYI for readers that use Delta Park and ride between Portland and Vancouver. Below is the weekly traffic update from ODOT about the I-5 Delta Park Project.

Interstate 5 Delta Park – (Victory Boulevard to Lombard Street): A contractor is starting work on a project to widen I-5 between Victory Boulevard and Lombard Street. This 1.2-mile project includes adding a third lane to southbound I-5, constructing a new southbound entrance ramp bridge at Columbia Boulevard, widening bridges, adding shoulders to northbound I-5, as well as installing new signage and road striping across the project area. Lane closures will only take place during nighttime work hours.

During the week of Monday, April 21, to Friday, April 25, the contractor may install temporary signs across the project area. This sign work will require intermittent right shoulder closures during daytime work hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Weather depending, the contractor also could begin re-striping and barrier movement work along the project corridor. This work would require single right-lane closures in both directions if I-5 during nighttime hours of 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
