Since 2005 Portlanders have come in from out of the cold and huddled together for a holiday shopping tradition unlike any other: BikeCraft, a holidy gift bazaar for bike lovers.
This year’s event is on the weekend of December 12th and 13th.
BikeCraft was founded on the simple notion that locally made, bicycle-inspired arts and crafts deserve their own moment in the spotlight. Organizers Aaron Kaffen and Amos Hunter are bringing the event back to Bike Farm this year. Bike Farm (1810 NE 1st, just north of NE Broadway) is an all-volunteer collective dedicated to helping people demystify bike repair and build not just bikes, but a stronger community as well.
This year Aaron and Amos have decided to donate all proceeds from the event to Bike Farm.

If you make cool bike stuff, there are still spots available to sell your wares. So far, they’ve already lined up some great vendors including: North St. Bags, Gigi’s Handywork, Laura TK, Portland Pogies, Velo Gioielli, Microcosm Publishing, kNiTpUnK, and Clodine Crafts.
It doesn’t cost anything to get in and there will be yummy food and drinks available for sale. All proceeds from the beer will go toward Bike Farm. Remember to apply if you’d like to be a vendor.
