Coder wanted to help with stolen bike recovery software

Buffered Bike Lane with a bike symbol and arrow pointing forward

The note below is from Bryan Hance, the Portland resident who created stolenbicycleregistry.com and who created the engine that runs the BikePortland Stolen Bike Listings. Bryan’s system works; but he needs help making it even better and to create code that can be used by other blogs. See his posting below and drop in a line if you know someone who’s interested…

Hi all – I’m looking for some local bikey code nerds, wondering if anyone on SHIFT may be interested or know someone who is:

I run a site (stolenbicycleregistry.com) for listing/searching for stolen bikes – I work with local bloggers, police & campus folks, and various shops to ID and recover stolen bikes. It is often a long shot, but it works.

Interest and traffic has spiked, but my time is tight – so I’m seeking LAMP-ish freelancers – i.e.: site redesign, wordpress plugin & dev
assistance, API dev, mobile app dev.

interested? know someone who may fit the description? please ping me.
