Gorge Bike and Hike

Led by Exchange Cycle Tours: Join us for a moderately paced ride out to the gorge, followed by a beautiful 2 mile hike before biking back to PDX. Total miles: 56, some hill climbing.

Reach the Beach
Couch potatoes, weekend warriors, and seasoned cyclists alike, will enjoy one of five different routes through Oregon’s wine country, forests, and little known towns. All routes end at Cape Kiwanda in beautiful Pacific City at the Oregon Coast.

Intersection Repair Bike Move
11:00am, Miller Paint, 317 SE Grand Ave
Help move lots of gallons of paints to neighborhoods across the city that will paint their intersection! Teams of two or more will transport paint from the center of the city to Sunnyside Piazza, Piedmont Penguins, Share-It Square, Freda’s Tree and Dignity Village neighborhood intersections.

In collaboration with couchsurfing.com, we’ll be having a ride to show invading couchsurfers from Seattle and Vancouver B.C. around town. Other travelers are welcome to join in and locals are encouraged to come along and share their knowledge.

Let’s shine up our hottest bikes and parade ourselves down Alberta Street to show off the who’s who of Portland bike culture during the Art Hop’s annual parade! We want to see all sorts of bike culture clans: Tall bikes, clowns, sweet schwinns, minis, move-by-bike, shifties, tandems, recumbents, unicycles, bmx, trikes, families & kids & more. Also everyone is invited to wear a pretty dress! As this is also the annual May pretty dress ride.
