Buffered Bike Lane with a bike symbol and arrow pointing forward

Sponsored by the Community Exchange Cycle Touring Club

Ever wanted to ride to the highest points in Portland but were afraid to try? Then this is the ride for you. No rider will be left behind and there is no shame in dismounting and walking if the going gets too tough. Of course, if you like climbing up hills a bit quicker, you can always go to the top, ride back down, and climb it again until the rest of us get there!

The first 4 miles will feel like they never end but the remaining 20 miles feature gently rolling hills and beautiful scenery followed by
an exhilarating ride down Germantown Rd, making those first 4 miles well worth the effort.

Please join us this Sunday 7/29/2007 for a ride that takes us up to Council Crest and out along Skyline Blvd as we circle Forest Park. Bragging rights awarded to all who complete the ride. For those more faint of heart, there will be an easy paced ECT ride scheduled for the same day. Details on that ride will be posted later this week.
