To say there was something for everyone this past weekend would be a vast understatement.

Kicking off on Friday night was of course Mini-Bike Winter (MBW). With the help of MBW special correspondent Mykle Hansen, I brought you updates from opening night and Saturday’s Chariot action.

Yesterday, the MBW festivities reached an apex with “Greek Days”, a slew of events down near the Hawthorne Bridge. Photographer Dat Nguyen was their to record the action which included the Tricycle Relay Race, Mini-Bike Shot Put, The Cupcake Challenge, Mini-Bike Bowling, and more.

Last night MBW assumed it’s tradition spot up at Legoland in Washington Park. So far, no reports…but I’m sure it was memorable.

From mini-bikes to museums-by-bike, Saturday was yet another one of Carye Bye’s fantastic Museum-by-Bike Tours. She led cyclists on a tour of craft museums and a ride on the Tram. Check out Carye’s photoset and recap on Flickr.

And believe it or not, the racing season has officially started! Many Portlanders traveled down to Corvallis to test their early season fitness at the annual Cherry Pie Road Race.

Team Veloshop, based out of a bike shop in downtown Portland, fielded a large contingent. Check out these photos of the action.
