Vancouver (our neighbor to the North) is really coming on strong. Next Monday they’re hosting an award ceremony for their Bronze award from the League of American Bicyclists, they got some great bikey coverage yesterday in the Columbian and check out their three events today; Critical Mass, a fashion show and a bike-in movie. Yeah Vancouver!

INTERACTIVE MUSEUM TOUR BY BIKE

We don’t get around by standing there; we pedal! These hands-on museums & collections we’ll visit by bike also need us to get involved for the full experience. We’ll explore a sampling of interactive museums & collections on the Westside of the Willamette. Stops include one of the world’s smallest museums, the 3D Center of Art & Photography, Ground Kontrol (pinball & the old-school arcade galore) and a visit to the mechanical bathtub lady! This ride will be lead by the Bathtub Art Museum director & on-site experts will be provided. Bring $5; a few quarters preferred

We’ll take our stylish flamboyance over the bridge (skirts flying high!) and meet up with those Krazy Karaokeista’s for the KARAOKE 2 KARAOKE PUB CRAWL (see below).

Local used clothing store presents a funky mix of vintage and contemporary styles for the urban cyclist. Get some non-lycra options for your biking adventures. This event will follow Vancouver’s Critical Mass and precede the Bike-In Movie. So join us for all three events!
