Takeout & A Movie – Together! A fundraising event presented by the Oregon Hospitality Foundation as a benefit for the Cycle Oregon Fund.
THE NEXT FILM: Adventure Shorts from Filmed by Bike
Sunday, July 26, 6-8:00 pm (or watch when you want)
The Oregon Hospitality Foundation (OHF) is hosting its second Takeout & A Movie fundraiser, a chance for you to experience adventure films from all over the world via an interactive YouTube livestream featuring a chat window and live Q&A. This month’s film is the Adventure Shorts program from Oregon’s Filmed by Bike film festival and the event is a benefit for the Cycle Oregon Fund and Oregon Tourism.
Enjoy takeout from your favorite local restaurant while watching an engaging film together, virtually, with friends and family. A live Q&A is included in the ticket price and is also available as a recorded link. If you are unable to attend the designated virtual watch time, no worries, the film will be available to you for several days.
Our first Takeout event in the series provided funds for an estimated 11,500 meals to restaurants who are committed to supporting our front-line heroes and those experiencing food insecurity. Read more on our Hospitality Help Fund page.
Proceeds for this month’s film will be donated to the Cycle Oregon Fund which provides grants to support Oregon’s tourism-dependent rural communities who are struggling due to the pandemic. Your ticket will also provide support to Filmed by Bike, a touring film festival produced in Oregon, and the Oregon Hospitality Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit which supports the training and philanthropic relief needs of Oregon’s tourism and hospitality industry.
Buy a ticket for this exciting interactive event and invite your friends and family to experience this together, virtually! Make it your own adventure day by exploring, hiking, riding your bike or just staying home and daydreaming about your next trip. Plan to order takeout dinner from your favorite restaurant, sink into your couch or outside hammock, and be transported to adventures from around the world.
