Saddle Mountain Sorcery
October 12, 2019 at 9:30 am - 5:00 pm

On October 12, 1875, Aleister Crowley was born. Crowley was an English occultist, ceremonial magician, poet, painter, novelist, mountaineer, drug experimenter, prankster, yogi, early freedom fighter, human rights activist, and philosopher. He was a practitioner of “magick” (as he spelled it) and called himself the Beast 666. He was denounced in his own time for his decadent lifestyle and had few followers, but he became a cult figure after his death in 1947. Let’s ride around Saddle Mountain on our bikes and honor the life of Mr. Crowley!

Do not let the above numbers fool you! A sorcerer is at work here
This route contains A LOT of larger, loose gravel/rocks on fairly steep climbs and descents

This is NOT a route of smooth “luxury” gravel
Some of the “dirt” logging roads might as well be made of peanut butter when wet
