Rocky Point Trails Big Dig Day
March 7, 2020 at 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
We are taking a week off from the small Rocky Point work parties to have a BIG DIG DAY! Join us & longtime NWTA supporter Cyclepath as we get the trails ready for the Spring riding season.
The Rocky Point Trail Stewards and our great volunteers have been busy every Saturday all winter long. They have rerouted the ridge Pipeline trail, did tons of drainage and gravel work on RP United, the Butter Knife trail is being built, and lots of other trail work. All these improvements have been bringing in lots of new riders. All of those wheels on all the trails with 8 inches of rain in January has taken its toll on the trails. For this work party, we are going to focus on a few trails to get them ready for spring and summer. We will be fixing tread, repairing features, and getting the drainage running again.
