In addition to a “lock-to” system, the e-scooter RFP will require geofencing and speed governing technology (which can use technology to reduce the speeds of scooters in some locations) and will score companies on their sidewalk safety solutions.

Fiona Cundy, Libby Winter, and Guy Benn, Trimet
Trimet staff will present information on a new transit-oriented development project in development- the Hollywood Hub. The project plans to create mixed-use equitable housing at the existing TriMet transit center and upgrade the ped/bike connection within the 42nd Ave right-of-way – that links Halsey to the ped bridge over I-84/Max Station. Trimet staff will provide an overview of the larger project but will be mostly focused on sharing some preliminary concepts for the 42nd ROW connection.
