Ms.Fits- ShRED, White & Blue Fun Ride + Bike Demo
July 4, 2018 at 9:30 am - 2:00 pm
Holiday on a Wednesday, Let’s RIDE!!!
Dress up in your best patriotic garb (optional but highly encouraged) and bring your buddies for an all genders, family-friendly NO DROP, casual morning ride before commencing your usual holiday festivities. Don’t have a bike? We can hook you up with a demo! More details below.
We will pedal up to Laura’s line to warm up and depending on the group continue to either Lower Hide and Seek or up to the gazebo and maybe end with some Little Monkey. We will make stops along the way for breaks and to talk about features.
WHO: We are teaming up with the NW Trail Sisters for this.
This ride is free, open to all humans and appropriate for beginner skill level (1+ year mtb experience) and up. (Please find a description of skill levels here: http://nw-trail.org/resources/skill-levels/ )
Families are welcome! If there are tiny tot shredders we may break up into separate groups to allow everyone to have a fun time.
WHEN: July 4th 2018, 9:30am
WHERE: Sandy Ridge Trail System, 62700 E Barlow Trail Rd, Sandy, OR 97011. Meet at the back end of the parking lot.
DEMOS: Evo bikes is making their entire demo fleet available to us for this ride! That means Santa Cruz, Juliana, Devinci, Evil and Transition bikes! To reserve a bike, email firstname.lastname@example.org by July 1 and let her know your size (med or large) and preference for which bike. We’ll do our best to hook you up, but, depending on supply, may only be able to meet the size request. Demo bikes must be reserved in advance.
WHAT TO BRING: a mountain bike in good working order with knobby tires (or pre-reserve a demo bike), a bike helmet, water, snacks, spare tube, and weather appropriate clothing (layers). Pads are recommended but personal preference.
We’ll be hanging out for some shenanigans post-ride, potluck style. So bring some snacks to share and your camp chairs. Oh, and, rumor has it there will be a quick yoga sesh after the ride, so bring a mat if that’s your thing.
Let’s have some fun on bikes!
